The Fire of New Desire: Being Honest with the Gospel
Here is a post that I wrote on my personal blog…
As a young generation we need to be honest when we evangelize by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. A lot of people have a very twisted view of what the Gospel is. The people who have this twisted view may not actually know that their presentation of the Gospel is actually corrupt. So, it is our duty to show and speak the true Gospel every time we get the opportunity.

Bible Verse: Titus 3:4-7
4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-7 (ESV)
Gospel Quote #19
“The heart of the gospel is redemption, and the essence of redemption is the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ.” (C.H. Spurgeon)
Gospel Quote #18
“When we preach Christ crucified, we have no reason to stammer, or stutter, or hesitate, or apologize; there is nothing in the gospel of which we have any cause to be ashamed.” (C.H. Spurgeon)
Gospel Quote #17
The glory of the gospel is that when the church is absolutely different from the world, she invariably attracts it. -David Martyn Lloyd-Jones
New Attitude | The Gospel and Relationships (For Guys)
About a week ago I posted a link to a post off of New Attitude called, The Gospel and Relationships (For Girls). This post is a link to a similar post but for guys. I personally was very excited to read this. I wanted to see how I could apply the Gospel in my own relationships. The guys at New attitude really know there stuff, and if you are looking for wisdom so that you can represent Christ, especially in your romantic relationship, this is a great article for you!
Christ laid down his life—this is the example we should follow in our relationships with others. Christ died to redeem us from sin—this is the source of grace that empowers us to follow his selfless example. Though the passage mentions “brothers,” the Greek word there translates as “siblings” and can refer to brothers or sisters in a given context. The point is obvious: if we are supposed to lay down our lives to serve others by nature of being Christians, then when we find ourselves romantically interested in a girl, the principle of “laying down our lives” must still be a directive for us.

Gospel Quote #16
The Galatians are severely censured for giving heed to false doctrines, and are called to pronounce even an apostle anathema, if he preached another gospel. -Charles Hodge
